My One Little Phrase Reflection

My phrase is actually not English! My One Little Phrase is Hakuna Matata. Please don’t copy it/use it as yours. Wouldn’t be very original, would it? 😛 According to the the dictionary, my phrase means no worries, for the rest of your days. It is a Swahili phrase. (I wish I could tell you I speak Swahili, but I’m unfortunately not that cool.) To me, my phrase means for me to let go of laziness, fears of change, plus many more. The Lion King is hands down my favorite Disney movie! I believe that Hakuna Matata helped Simba through his dark phases. Basically, don’t worry, be happy. Live in the moment!! But if you were to eat a 6 month old cheese, do not mumble “Hakuna Matata” in between bites, unless you want a stomach bug.

2017!

So I was going to start off with a poem, I already wrote it, but I deleted it because it was SO DEPRESSING.

It was pretty much me going like this:

Happy new year, blah blah blah.

Honestly, it’s just a new year. What’s there to celebrate?

Excuse the negative little me, 😛

AAAAAAAAAAAAANYWAY,  what did you do for New Years? I got invited to a New Years party but I didn’t want to go..so I just watched the ball drop on TV.

Hope you had a good year and that 2017 is good to you. So far, even though it’s the second day of the New Year, 2017 has been going horrible. Today my mom had to drive my dad to the hospital because he has pneumonia. I think 2016 wasted it’s time giving me anything good. What is your New Years resolution?
